Everlasting Family didn’t begin as a software project. It began more than fifteen years ago with a simple conviction — that the stories held by the people we love are worth capturing properly, before it’s too late.

Long before this app existed, we were sitting down with family members, asking questions, and recording the answers. Not just dates and places, but the real stories — the ones that reveal who people actually were, how they saw the world, and what they want the people who come after them to know. Over fifteen years, that archive grew into something genuinely precious. It also made very clear that there was no good tool for doing this well.

So we built one.

Who we are

Everlasting Family is developed and distributed by Intelligent Assistance Software, Inc., a company with a long history of building professional tools for people who care deeply about their craft.

We bring the same attention to detail to Everlasting Family that we bring to everything we build — but this one is personal. This is the app we made for our own family first, and for yours second.

What we believe

Family history is too important to be locked inside any one institution, platform, or worldview. Everlasting Family has no religious affiliation and no agenda beyond helping you preserve what matters most to you, in your own words, on your own terms.

The people behind it

Philip Hodgetts has spent decades working at the intersection of storytelling and technology — first as a videographer, editor, and producer, and later as co-founder of Intelligent Assistance Software. He has been recording structured family oral histories for more than fifteen years, driven by the belief that every family contains stories worth preserving. Everlasting Family is the tool he always wished he’d had from the beginning.

Greg Clarke is the technical co-founder of Intelligent Assistance Software, with deep expertise in building professional software tools. He brings the same engineering rigour to Everlasting Family that has made Intelligent Assistance’s products trusted by professionals worldwide.
